Dan Terhune led The College of Wooster football team an impressive defensive victory over Ohio Wesleyan University, and the North Coast Athletic Conference took notice, naming him the NCAC Defensive Player of the Week Sunday.

The senior defensive tackle was the key behind Wooster's 10-6 win, as he recorded 2.5 sacks in the game. He totaled 4.5 tackles for a loss in all, helping the Scots hold Ohio Wesleyan to -3 rushing yards on 22 attempts, which marked the first time since 2006 that a Wooster defensive unit held an opponent to negative yards on the ground.

Also noteworthy, with the 2.5 sacks, the All-American moved into third-place all-time on Wooster's career sacks list with 18.5.

Terhune and the Scots are 2-2 overall, 1-1 in the NCAC, and will host Denison University this Saturday at 1 p.m.
