Columbus, Ohio -- Bill Ramseyer, former Wilmington (Ohio) College and University of Virginia at Wise head football coach, will be the featured speaker Friday, April 13 at the 3rd annual OhioCollegeFootball.com awards banquet sponsored by the Ohio Army National Guard.
The banquet honors the 2011 OhioCollegeFootball.com Players and Coaches of the Year as well as the 2012 Ohio Army National Guard Senior Bowl III participants.

This year’s event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North Hotel, with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m. OCF will honor ten Ohio college players and coaches from all divisions.
Ramseyer’s coaching experience spans both the high school and college ranks. He began his coaching career with eight years at the high school level, which included guiding Firelands (Ohio) High School – a school that had not had a single winning season until Ramseyer’s arrival – to a 24-2 record during his tenure.
He then turned to the college level, where he was an assistant coach and head scout for the University of Missouri when they won the conference championship and appeared in the Orange Bowl.
From there he moved on to coach at Wilmington College, which had accumulated only 28 wins over the previous 15 years. Bill amassed a record of 114-58-4 during his tenure, which included qualifying for the national championship game. He also earned five conference or district coach of the year honors while at Wilmington.
Ramseyer, a College Football Hall of Fame nominee, completed his career as the first-ever coach at the University of Virginia at Wise, which included back-to-back 10-win seasons. UVA-Wise was the first program ever to accomplish this feat in its first six years of existence.
Bill holds a PhD from the University of Missouri and has been inducted into seven Halls of Fame and just recently published his third book - Are you Ready for the Coin Toss.

OhioCollegeFootball.com, along with D1 Sports, will host a Pro Day Combine on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the DI Sports complex in Columbus, Ohio.
The event is sponsored by the Ohio Army National Guard, and DI Sports Columbus. The combine is open to ANY senior prospect with no remain eligibility.

There will be a $35.00 fee which must be paid online at OhioCollegeFootball.com. No checks will be accepted the day of registration.

Columbus Crew Stadium, located at One Black & Gold Blvd., will be open during normal business hours, Monday – Friday. All tickets are general admission and are $12.00 presale and $15.00 the day of the game. Children under 2-years of age are free.The Ohio Army National Guard Senior Bowl III is scheduled for April 14, 2012 in Columbus’ Crew Stadium. Kick-off is slated for 1:00 p.m.
