The big push: Case's Whalen is hoping to turn heads before the NFL draft

(Article By Mark Podolski/News-Herald) Sam Rutigliano remembers when the Browns drafted Brian Sipe with the 330th pick in the 1972 draft.
"A lot people said Sipe had two chances — slim and none," the former Browns coach said.
Sipe bucked the odds, eventually became Cleveland's starting quarterback and was named 1980 NFL MVP.
In Rutigliano's world, anything is possible. It's one reason why he might be Dan Whalen's biggest supporter and believer — as a future NFL quarterback, that is.
