Just saw the finished nonconference schedule for ou for 2009. For all the complaining I did last year because of the terrible schedule, this comming year looks like a 180 degree improvement. 2 home games instead of one. One of two bcs teams(conneticut) at home. A beatable bcs team on the road. (tennasee) A road game against a very beatable non bcs team(north texas state) and a home game against a 1aa school (cal poly). This could be a very good year for what should be a very improved team. Almost beat OSU before the schedule got to them, this year who knows. Should be at least 2-2 after nonconferance and with the way the bcs teams break down maybe even better. Tennasee getting a lot of pub but they will be sorry they fired fullmer after this year.

David - I agree with you. The OU schedule looks alot better and I do have high hopes for them in 2009. As for Tennessee, I know they were frustrated with Fulmer but to hire a guy who hasn't proven himself as a head coach at any level has me wondering if UT took a huge step backwards. I am a Fulmer fan and well I am disappointed. You know the SEC will be ready for UT. |
