Well I came back ready to brag about how good the cats looked saturday against a tough 1aa team that almost beat wisconsin last year. How they shut down thier offense(defense only gave up 3 points) and how good the offense also looked. Sure the field goal kicking sucked(0-3, and the longest was 42) but all in all it was the best overall game I have seen the cats play since I have been going to athens(06 till now). By the way the only touchdown cal poly scored was on a pass interception against the second string when the receiver failed to catch the ball that hit him right in the hands. Theo Scott also had a very good game and seems to be playing like he did a couple of years ago. Trouble is I found out that Boo Jackson is probably out for the year(ohio trying for a medical redshirt) due to his shoulder injury. Too say the least this isn't good news. If scott gets hurs agian it will be a very long year. Jackson injury not as devastating as jarvis at kent but still pretty bad. I can see now that solich probably won't try to put up a serious fight this weekend just to save scott from injury. I had originally high hopes the cats could give a good show next week, now I just hope they get back healthy.
