That was the sorriest excuse for offensive football I have seen. Congradulations to KSU, they had a game plan to shut down ou and they did. I don't know what was worse, the execution by ou or the gameplan by the coaches. Solich obviously didn't kown how to cope with what was put in front of him. I'm sorry the excuse that scott was sick doesn't make it, if he was that sick he shouldn't have played. Scott was terrible and the freshman backup was only slightly better. Oh wait he was twice as good as scott. Once must remember though that 2 x 0 = well you get the idea. I don't know who is going to play quarterback for ohio now. This is 3 straight bad weeks for scott and the freshman hasn't shown anything. Jackson going down for season has really hurt. The question now isn't will Ohio make it too a bowl but if they will even win another game. Ball State is a possibility, after yesterday though I wouldn't bet on the cats against anyone else.

P.S. Ohio played so bad they made the browns offense look good.

David - You mentioned that Scott was sick. I wonder if he will be available on Saturday?

Thanks for the question. I am not sure yet. I assume solich will address it tonight on his talk show. Supposedly scott was throwing up on the sidelines saturday. I hope that was the problem, ohio can't take another week like last one.

You are being very kind with ou's ranking after saturday. It was bad, really bad. The only touchdown was on a 90 yard punt return late in the game. The field goal came after a fumble was returned to the 4. Oh the fumble was on the same play that scott had a pass intercepted. Maybe if I watch a replay of the browns I won't feel so bad about the bobcats.

David - OU's strength of schedule is very good and they are 3-1 within MAC play I believe. I do think that Kent State is coming on as they got off to a rather slow start with the loss of Euguene Jarvis. I still think that Ohio is better than Toledo and BG right now. The Bobcats must be careful not to look a scrappy Ball State team.

I hear what you are saying about Ball State. Getting me kind of nervous. I will just have to sit back and not listen to the game and go either to muskingum or ashland in the afternoon instead.

Oh I am glad you brought up jarvis, especially since he was the best running back in the mac. Even if scott was sick(he may have been rumor has it a lot of campus was hit last week and the ranks of the band did seem thined out a little) I didn't hear anyone from kent complaining about injuries. The freshman did get some valuable game experience even if he did play poorly. Maybe something good will come out of it. Darn I'm starting to sound like my son( a big michigan fan) after michigan lost to appalacian state now. If nothing else the hockey game ohio played last saturday night was fun.

Too answer my own question , YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Theo Scott had the best day of any ohio college quarterback this year in today's game. I will never say anything bad about him again. What a game. May not recover my voice for a week.
