I have to beat zip to the punch on this one. I have been looking at all the local college football schedules for 2010 and I have found one that very well be one of the best around this area in years. 9/25/2010 write it down , wesley vs. capital. This could be a great game. Wesley last year had a very good team and gave the mt. everything they could want and more.(had the mt. folks worried believe me , I was there). They will be facing a improving cap team that also gave mt. a good game at home last year. Definetley my pick to watch for this year and will be looking forward to zip's analasis of this one.

That will be a great game. I, personally, am looking forward to these match ups. Of course, there are a lot of good games scheduled this season.
NCAA II Findlay vs. Ashland
NCAA III Wittenberg vs. Wabash Ohio Northern vs. Otterbein
Teams to keep an eye on in 2010 - Notre Dame College...first year playing a varsity schedule. Ohio Dominican and Lake Erie both enter into the GLIAC conference...Tiffin had an impressive recruiting class - keep thinking this could be their year...And how good will Defiance be this year? |

that game between wabash and wittenberg sure looks good, can't believe I overlooked it. I am going to watch wittenberg on 11/13 at wooster so I am going to stick with my original scedule of ashland and odu on the 6th. Will be a great game though.

I am going to attend the Capital/Wesley game. That should be a great one. |

I agree , Wesley vs Capital should be a great one. It will also be an indicator if Capital has the muscle to contend with Mount. Word on the street is Capital had a few outstanding players transfer in. |

No doubt it will be a tough one. Wesley hung with Mount last year but so did Capital. Wesley beat a good Ohio Dominican team. Kudos to Capital for even scheduling this out of conference game considering the OAC has a tough conference schedule. No doubt Cap will be the underdog. |

man this is a tough decision. Should I go to marshall to watch ohio continue their march to a undefeated seson or go to the wesley-capital game?

Oh wow, David! that's my exact predicament on the 25th, too! i work at Capital so of course i want to go to our first home game of the year - especially when it's against a national power. But, i graduated from OU and i hate Marshall so i want to go to that game too!
of course i COULD go to both since Cap's game is at 1:30 and OU's game is at 7:00 but it would be a stretch to do that, i think. i'm definitely going to the Cap game; the question remains if i'll go to Huntington afterward. gotta love college football!!!! |

huntington might be a stretch to make from columbus. I have never been to marshall but it is my understanding that parking at marshall's stadium can be hard to come by so that makes the double dip that day pretty tough. If anyone knows the situation with parking at marshall please let me know. Tough decision indeed, I was at mt. last year when wesley gave mt. a great game. Hadn't been for short's playing wildcat qb the second half mt. just might have lost that one.

i have been to Marshall a few times, and parking can be challenging. the bigger factor to me would be weather and, of course, the length of the Cap game. i doubt if i actually go to Marshall for this one, but it's fun to think about - going to two college football games in one day! |

last year I did 6 doubleheaders, I think I have 4 planned for this year(maybe changing to 5 since I won't be able to make conneticutt-michigan game). Best doubleheader I did last year was indiana-michigan in the afternoon and then boise state-bowling green on the way home.
