I just returned from a trip to oklahoma city to watch the world cup of softball tournament with my family(daughter is a big fan and it was her dream to see the u.s. team there). On friday last week we decided that since norman is just a short distance(about 15 miles from our hotel) we would make a visit to the university of oklahoma. Interesting place. Very nice campus that reminds me a little of oxford, just not as beuatifull. Of course I had to buy some ou gear while there and took lots of pics of the campus and the stadium. I was surprised by the stadium though. I had exspected a larger stadium. I have no idea yet what the capacity is but it is far smaller then many of the big stadiums in this part of the country. Still a very nice stadium and beutifull campus and it was fun visiting there. Oh one last thing, if you ever go to oklahoma city you have to see the memorial. The exsperience is very sobering and the museam exibit will make you wonder how man can do such a thing, especially one american to another.
