No official announcement yet but bio was on the ODU website.

After a 16-year NFL career and working as a broadcaster with three different networks, former Ohio State record-setting quarterback Mike Tomczak joins Ohio Dominican’s coaching staff as an assistant quarterbacks coach.

A Chicago native, Tomczak was a three-year starter at Ohio State and set the school-record for career passing yards. He currently ranks seventh in that category and is also among the all-time leaders in pass attempts, completions in a game and career, completion percentage and career touchdown passes, amongst others.

Tomczak played for the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions in his NFL career. He played on Chicago’s 1985 Super Bowl championship team and also was a member of the Steelers during their trip to the Super Bowl in 1995. He threw for over 16,000 yards and 87 touchdowns during his career and made 73 starts.
After his playing days, Tomczak worked as a broadcaster with ESPN, Fox Sports Net and the Big Ten Network.
