What can I say about ashland. Best football stadium in ohio. One of the three or four best marching bands in ohio( they sounded great saturday night). Fantastic alma matter(everyone who has seen dirty dancing has heard it) and in my opinion the best fight song in ohio(too me "Blue and Gold" only ranks behind "The Victors" and "On Wisconsin"). Unfortunately not much can be said for the football team. I won't be too hard on them because folks at akron are about as nice as anywhere I have been(only toledo is close, osu fans could learn a few lessons about hospitality from zip fans). Still Akron has a long long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! way to go if it is going to be competitive. Nothing else needs to be said, I am afraid they may not win a game this year. Things will change over the next few years with that stadium but it will be a hard time following them for all but the most diehard fans.
