I hope someone can answer this question because quite frankley it has been bugging me for a while now, and recently it seems too be getting much worse. I could complain about the bogus personal foul calls that all teams seem to be the victim of on what are clean plays but that is not my complaint. Since when has hurdling all of a sudden become acceptable in all forms of football from high schooll all the way to pros? Seems to me this has always called for a penalty but not only is it never called but is glorified and always shown on espn or some other news outlet as a great play. If football wants to seriously try to protect the players from dangerous hits then this should be the first thing flagged and not clean hits.
