Less then two months till the bw-wooster game. I can't wait. Follow that up with a trip too the state up north to see how michigan does with the new coach(from my high school) and it will be quite a start. Really looking forward to 9/17. Ohio hosts Marshall, should be a good one. Watch out , my fearless forcast of a giant upset is comming soon. This could be the year that h### freezes over.

After carefull consideration I am ready to make my upset pick for this year. I had numorous games to choose from, the reasons ranging from either on the field or off the field issues. So this is it. Ohio Northern will shock the world and defeat Mt. Union this year. Both of course will make the tournament but I do believe this will be the Northern's year. This may be one year that the Mt. just won't be able to reload as usual. Cecil Shorts for example will be a tall order to replace.

Regarding replacing Cecil Shorts at Mount Union, didn't they same the sdame thing about replacing Pierre Garcon?

good point cass, the only thing I can say to that is shorts was the best d### football player in the state of ohio last year. A guy who could play just about anywhere needed. (if it wasn't for him playing qb they never would have beat wesley in 09. Still it is hard to argue your point, mt. always seems to get the players. Besides that please please please stop killining my perdiction so early.(thank god I didn't put my for mentioned keyon perdiction out last year.)There will be plenty of time to make fun of it later.

I know the feeling, I guess it is just to early to be thinking about footall for most people.

The ONU- Mount Union will be a good game and Ohio Northern will have home field advantage this year. ( It will be Mount's first away game of 2011.)

I must admit I am a total college football junkie. I have had my schedule made out for over two weeks now. That may change though. Might go to michagan game on 9/24 instead of 9/3. If I do I will be making my first trip to onu on 9/3 followed by the cap/berg game. Until then I have a few races up at midohio, national trail and maybe indy to hold me over. we will see.

I've had my fall schedule pretty much mapped out for the past 4 years. It is what ever the Mount Union football schedule is for that year. My schedule will free up in 2012.

wow!!!. Well you certainly have peedked my interest now. I am assumiing you must have a son on the raider football team.(I know I shouldn't assume. I just watched the movie Under Siege 2 today and it has my all time favorite line about what assumption is the mother of).
