I highly recommend reading an article that is posted on d3football.com. It addresses the question why d3 over d1? Gret article and reinforces why I like all d3 sports so well, especially in this day and age where every school in d1 major sports seems to be having problems.(yes even my beloved ohio bobcats have yet another player in trouble with the law for actions on court st.) One doesn't have to question or defend the actions of the young men and women who play or the coaches that teach them in D3. Once again read this article. It will give you more respect for d3 athletics and the people associated with it.

Having a son that has now played at both levels I can say that there are many reasons he enjoys the D3 side of it.

He does miss some of the free gear and such, but he was very suprised with the quality of play at D3.
