How much arrogance can a school show. A self imposed two year probation, wow that's a whopper of a punishment. Vacate games, ooh that's got to hurt. I remind you they want to vactate not forfeit, there is one hell of a difference.(a forfeit would be a loss on the record, a vacated game is not a loss) Now they have change tressell to retired instead of resigned. This is saying he did nothing wrong as he will get a fat pention with this. This is a bigger slap in the face to the ncaa then the two game suspension. Ohio State once again showing their arrogance and their belief that they are bigger the ncaa and college atletics itself. This is not cooperation of even opening negotiations. This is a joke. As the dialog in a recent famous movie went"if this is the way you're going to be the price just went up 10%, for your arrogance it just went up another 10%". If the ncaa doesn't punish ohio state hard they might as well just disolve it. The whole idea that anyone can reduce there penalties by imposing their own hand slap is an insult to everyone.
