Well I thought I had posted once on this but must have hit the wrong button so the short answer. Yes Heidleberg has a excellant shot. I have seen them twice this year , the defense is strong, passing game is good and they have the best runner in the oac in germany woods. Is there a better name for a player at berg then Germany? Heidleberg also has an excellant placekicker and if it comes down to a field goal Heidleberg has the advantage. Question is will Berg fold under the pressure as so many others have right at the start? Key will be Woods getting 30 carries. If he does the student princes will be in the game late and then who knows. Maybe the pressure will go the other way. I'd like to pick Heidleberg but the loss to a BW team they should have beat bothers me. Mt. Union 24-20. It is going to be a great game. Good luck Student Princes.

Oh I forgot one very important point that should be mentioned so I edited my original post. The game is in Tiffin. While that might not matter at a lot of schools in this case it could be a big asset for Heidleberg. I have seen a lot of schools in different sports around ohio and the only school that gets better support from the fans and students then Heidleberg is Wooster. They are great fans who know how to cheer for a team(loudly). Tiffin will be rocking this weekend.

No.

Final score 56-7

Jeremy Murray 26 carries 137 yards and aTD

Germany Woods 24 carries 63 yards and no TDs

Jeremy Murray had more net yards that did Heidleberg's team combined.

thanks for the info, very impressive indeed. Another pretender bites the dust. I missed that but just that much. Now the cap-otterbein game , now that was a great game.

Wow I really missed on that one, I guess the rule of thumb still exists, whoever I think is going to win(I didn't think they would but I thought they would keep it close) bet the other way. It is a sure fire way to make money.
