Last tuesday night I saw what should have been for osu. He is playing qb for Miami. Zac Dysart is by far the best college qb in the state of ohio. OSU could have had Dysart but they didn't recruit him because they were after the hot shot athlete qb(sound like anyone who has come through osu recently) from south carolina. When osu was turned down for clemson only then did they show any interest in dysart and that was too run practice squad. What arrogance, did they really think he was going to change from miami just to do that?He gets to start right away as opposed to never playing at least for 2 years at osu and he is going there? Not only is miami a far superiior school to osu but they and the mac have a much better record of preparing qb's for the pros. Who was the last osu qb who was really nfl quality? Art and that goes back a long way. So what does OSU wind up with, a senior who can't play and a freshman who hasn't learned how to play because of a player and coach that screwed the program. If they had had Dysart at osu they would have had a qb ready to step in who would have done a fine job and osu might just be playing this weekend instead of sitting home and hoping to get something other then the bowl game in detroit. |
